Spin the wheel: a free random picker

Type in your options — names, numbers, meals or dares — and spin. The wheel picks one at random, fairly. Start from a ready-made wheel, save your own and remove winners as you go.

Ready-made wheels

Open one and spin straight away. Every wheel can be edited and saved as your own.

How to make your own wheel

  1. Clear the sample options and type your own, one per line.
  2. The wheel updates as you type. Use 2 to 60 options; long labels are shortened on the wheel but shown in full in the result.
  3. Press Spin in the centre or the button below the wheel. For numbers, use “Numbers 1 to N”.
  4. Name the wheel and press “Save this wheel” to come back to it later.

Saved wheels stay in this browser on this device: no account needed, and your options are not sent to a server. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Is the wheel fair?

Yes. Every option gets an equal sector, and the result is chosen by your browser’s cryptographic random number generator before the wheel starts turning. The animation only reveals that result, so how or when you press makes no difference.

To give an option better odds, add it more than once. To go through everyone without repeats, turn on “Remove the result after each spin” — handy for drawing lots, sharing chores or a small raffle.

Using the wheel at a party

The wheel is a quick way to pick who starts and warm up the room. Use the name picker to choose the first player, then start Truth or Dare or Spy on the same phone. For quick forfeits, try the party dare wheel — no drinking, nothing risky.

Questions and answers

Is the wheel really free?

Yes, completely: every ready-made wheel, your own options and saving. No subscription is needed and there are no ads inside the wheel.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. It is built for phones, so it is easy to spin and pass around. A tablet or computer works too, including on a big screen.

Can I stop options repeating?

Yes. Turn on “Remove the result after each spin”, or press “Remove this option” after a result. Reload a ready-made wheel or open a saved one to get the full list back.

How many options can I add?

Up to 60 options per wheel and up to 20 saved wheels in your browser.
